Also not every ignorantly woke person is white, I just see it the most in white people and how they deal with people of color Someone can be ignorantly woke about one topic and not about another Also pertaining to race I realize my take is also privileged, my thoughts on these specific situations come directly from my exposure with the people it affects and what I’ve directly heard from them, but doesn’t mean it’s the general consensus, and usually I just agree with whatever the personal actually experiencing it thinks/feels because it’s not my place to know different because I am white

i’m so thankful i had a childhood where i could experience all cultures. i grew up on military bases (believe it or not they’re so diverse) and every year around holidays in elementary school we did an around the world holidays day where each classroom was decorated for a different holiday (Kwanza, Hanukkah, Christmas, Diwali) and we did projects and games practiced by each religion while learning why they celebrate that while talking to fellow classmates who go “oh that’s what my family does!!”
