My postpartum psychosis did not get bad until my baby was four months old. It didn’t happen immediately.

I was prescribed with Prozac with my 3rd child, I was reallly depressed and I told my husband hide all the sharp knives and scissors, thank god I get through it and now my children are all adults .

My psychiatrist did this to me, I told him I was getting dark thoughts of hurting my children and his response was “what do you want me to do about it?” And proceeded to prescribe yet another medication. My husband heard his response and supported me. I got a new doctor and what a difference.

I went through psychosis. It was horrible. I was seeing reality but also hallucinating people saying things or what not. I didn’t get help until it got bad that I checked myself into the er.

Lindsay was also diagnosed with Bipolar 1. The whole thing is a tragedy, but if the jury doesn’t rule, “Not Guilty by reason of Insanity,” then even the jury has failed her!!

I'm confused the dealers who gave drugs to Matthew Perry went to jail but these dealers with degress are not at all responsible? 🤔 not saying she should get off etc, but I am saying a lot more people should be on trial.

I wonder why it affects some women and not others. I love my kids and was sooooo dam protective of them when they were babies. It's such a hard thing to understand when I couldn't imagine something bad happened to my kids. 😩

I had postpartum depression & it was HORRIBLE. I’ll always be grateful for the help I received from my doctor. I can’t even imagine postpartum psychosis!

My psychosis got so bad, I walked to the e.r at 2am gave my baby to the receptionist at the hospital & walked away. That was 12 years ago no charges filed because baby was unharmed.
