Tbh I’d even take it a step further. If you don’t wear a mask at work, you shouldn’t work in healthcare (there are a few exception in case they have a disability that makes it impressive to wear a mask but other than that nobody should be walking around a hospital, pharmacy or doctors office without a respirator imo). I hope that someday mask mandates will be enforced in healthcare settings. It’s scary that they are super rare for now

My last PCP told me I have OCD (I asked to go thru what was on my chart), "because of your wearing a mask". OCD was and is not on my chart. Sometime after that she fully quit the medical field, but I still kinda wish I had filed a complaint 😕. It was for a referral appt, which she did sign off on fortunately.
