When I went to see Project Hail Mary we inadvertently got tickets to the accessible showing and there were captions. It was awesome!!!

I watch a lot of anime in Japanese with subs & I grew up with a partially deaf friend who had an implant and I can't not have subs on anymore. I honestly always thought cinemas should just have One Screening a day at the least that is subtitled Viewing. I think it would be a killer idea personally. I hate that places like cinemas don't do things like this to include people who are deaf.

Honestly, I watch everything with captions at home. It’s extremely helpful and I can tun the volume down. No more blaring music volume!

Also I may be closing up my ear canal permanently and I was wondering if she has any advice for like I guess living being half deaf and also have hearing loss in my good ear.

Depending on where you are and if their around, try a cinemark, they usually have movies showing that have captions already in the movie on the screen.
