So hold up. My steps son’s mother is found to be incompetent to stand trial because she lost her mind because of drugs. But this woman was actively struggling with mental health after having her kids and on a host of medications with very long list of side effects, and also begging for help from medical professionals because of what she was thinking and feeling, everyone disregarded her. Until something finally happened. Smdh. The state of mental health care here is ridiculous.

That’s an insane amount of STRONG meds that alter your mind. Ones that aren’t supposed to be combined. That should be all the evidence they need to see that she was in a med induced psychosis. Anyone taking that cocktail would do out of character, out of reality behavior

I really like her lawyer, he’s seasoned. His argument has been so organized, and detailed. Meanwhile, Prosecution is struggling, and painting a false narrative. They definitely lost jury favor with this. Evidence is provided before trial, so they had the notebook showing her log her daily meds intake. It doesn’t make sense to argue that she wasn’t taking them.

100mg of Seroquel (quetiapine) will knock a person out! A standard dose is 25mg! They can all be used for depression but are generally prescribed for sleep mirtazapine, trazodone. That’s heavy af. Also they normally do not prescribe those meds together.

No but I feel like this was a book I read…. The father killed them and had her so drugged up she doesn’t remember anything, slit her throat and wrists and threw her out the window….cleaned up all his fingerprints on the exercise bands and the knife used to cut her and then called the police 11 minutes later!!! He’s guilty!!! I truly believe he orchestrated all of this !

I’m sure this lawyer already “saw” something off with the husband… he’s emphasizing a lot of things that in my opinion might be leading towards something else and the husband is not going to like it… lawyer is definitely making sure the husband knows that he fail her, as partner/husband he “had” to do something else and he didn’t do or didn’t even cared for her at all anymore 😔.
