Uhhso, it doesn’t work like that — it’s not a bat signal to let you know when someone’s active online; it observes users’ patterns based on set criteria, over a predetermined period of time, and when that criteria is met, the signals badge is enabled, unless someone has manually disabled it; it works the same way in reverse, such that someone will fail to meet the same criteria over a period of time, and the signals badge will be disabled.. the update I can’t stand is this new pop-up about staying safe online and asking whether we want to see this person again in our stack of possibilities after we unmatch them; if you’ve unmatched someone because it obviously wasn’t working out, why would you want to see them again??!

I feel like girls can technically use it to their advantage, the statistic is the same 10% of men are getting majority of all the likes and matches so if you see a profile without that Mark likelihood is, they’re not getting a chance and more likely to maybe be more responsive and not talking to too many others if anyone at all
