I think hi3 suffers from being a Gacha game. Part 2 was not planned but at some point they realized they needed something for after wrapping up the main story so they created all sorts of setup to continue the game and not end of service. I genuinely believe were this an anime that only part 1 would exist. It’s hard to let go but hi3 is not hi3 anymore.
