Shit I did this on a spot and stock Muley. Hunted the morning dialed my sight for 75 couldn’t get a shot off. Packed up went back to the house. Saw a big whitetail in the back pasture. Stalked him to 7 yards. Had a front shot. And well smoked the buck in the eye. Looked at my sight and was just so pissed at myself. Buck survived had him on camera the rest of the year and til this day I still see him cruising past our cameras but still have yet to connect with him during daylight hours
