Mine I know had / has deep feelings for me, we have a very deep bond but on Tuesday he randomly said in the middle of our conversation that he just finished reading old texts from “people” he doesn’t talk to anymore, he said he likes doing that, & it gave him a bit of nostalgia, & takes him back to the old days “when things were maybe better maybe not” I don’t know why he would tell me that but I think he’s just trying to self-sabotage because he can’t handle having feelings for me deep feelings too, for 6 MONTHS. I do believe he is insecure within himself & he hides it behind a mask of ego. He would communicate his feelings to me through music, song lyrics, poetry & reposts & wasn’t the best at articulating it verbally. We had a pretty strong push pull dynamic, I ruined it by saying “your scaring me” I think I made him feel rejected internally.
