@msjuntold: The ballroom never truly recovered after Oom walked away. The music resumed a few moments later, but it sounded distant, almost out of place. Conversations started again in hushed voices, though every now and then someone would glance toward the woman still kneeling on the marble floor. Bam didn’t notice any of it. She couldn’t hear the whispers. She couldn’t see the flashing cameras. Her eyes remained fixed on the entrance where Oom had disappeared. For five years she had imagined this moment countless times. She had rehearsed apologies in front of a mirror. She had convinced herself that if they ever met again, Oom would at least yell at her. Maybe she’d cry. Maybe she’d tell Bam how much she hated her. Instead… Oom had looked at her like she was a complete stranger. That hurt more than any insult ever could. A tear rolled down Bam’s cheek. “I deserve this…” she whispered to herself. A pair of black heels stopped in front of her. For a split second, hope filled her chest. Oom… But when she slowly looked up, it wasn’t Oom standing there. It was Lena. Her expression was unreadable, but there wasn’t a trace of sympathy in her eyes. Lena looked down at Bam for several seconds before speaking. “So…” “You finally know what it feels like.” Bam lowered her head. “I know.” Lena let out a dry laugh. “No.” “You don’t.” “If you did…” “You would’ve walked away the first time you realized Oom was breaking because of you.” Miu quietly walked over and stood beside Lena. She glanced at Bam before gently touching Lena’s arm. “Lena…” But Lena didn’t stop. “You know what happened after the divorce?” Bam slowly shook her head. “I… no.” “Exactly.” “You don’t.” “You were so consumed by your guilt that you never bothered to find out how she survived after you left.” Bam clenched her trembling hands. Lena folded her arms. “The first thing she did was sell your house.” Bam frowned. “Our house?” Lena nodded. “She couldn’t stay there.” “Every room reminded her of you.” “The kitchen reminded her of the breakfasts she used to make.” “The balcony reminded her of your morning coffee.” “The bedroom…” Lena paused for a moment. “…she never stepped inside again.” “So she sold it.” Bam’s breathing became uneven. Lena continued. “She moved into a penthouse.” “It was beautiful.” “Big.” “Expensive.” “And completely empty.” “No family photos.” “No decorations.” “No memories.” “It looked more like a hotel than a home.” Miu quietly looked away. Even after five years, those memories still hurt. Lena took another step closer. “She buried herself in work.” “Board meetings.” “Business trips.” “Negotiations.” “Anything that kept her busy.” “Anything that kept her from thinking.” Bam whispered, “…She always hated overworking.” “I know.” “She used to tell me that money wasn’t worth sacrificing your health.” Lena nodded. “Exactly.” “And yet she became the very person she used to criticize.” “There were weeks she barely slept.” “Days when coffee was the only thing keeping her standing.” “She collapsed during a shareholders’ meeting.” “The doctors forced her into the hospital.” Bam’s eyes widened. “…Hospital?” “Twice.” “The second time, they told her if she kept going like that…” Lena looked away before finishing. “…she could’ve died.” Bam covered her mouth. “No…” Miu finally spoke. “We were terrified.” “There were nights she would wake up from nightmares.” “She never told us what she dreamed about.” “But every single time…” Miu swallowed. “…she called your name.” Bam completely broke down. Her shoulders shook violently as she cried. “I’m sorry…” “I’m so sorry…” Lena’s face remained cold. “You know what made me hate you the most?” Bam slowly looked up. “Oom never hated you.” Bam blinked. “What?” “When people called you a cheater…” “She stopped them.” “When journalists tried digging into your affair…” “She refused to answer.” “When investors wanted to remove your family’s name from joint projects…” “She protected your reputation.” Bam stared at her in disbelief. “Even after everything…” Lena’s voice cracked for the first time. Ms. J :
Part 2️⃣: Bam had just walked outside.
Rain instantly soaked her dress and hair, but she didn’t seem to care.
She looked around desperately until their eyes met.
For a brief second…
Neither of them moved.
Bam took one cautious step forward.
“Oom…”
Her voice was barely audible beneath the rain.
Oom simply watched her.
There was no anger.
No sadness.
No hesitation.
Only distance.
She turned back to her assistant.
“Proceed.”
The assistant blinked.
“Miss?”
“Continue every acquisition.”
“Every company considering a partnership with Saralee Holdings…”
“I want them to choose us.”
“The investors.”
“The suppliers.”
“The logistics contracts.”
“Everything.”
The assistant looked uncertain.
“If we continue…”
“Her company will suffer significant losses.”
Oom’s expression remained calm.
“I’m aware.”
“…Should we leave them anything?”
Oom looked once more at Bam standing alone in the rain.
When she finally spoke, her voice was quiet.
Almost emotionless.
“Leave her enough to keep the company alive.”
The assistant nodded.
“And nothing more?”
A long silence followed.
Then Oom answered.
“She’ll survive.”
“But she’ll never stand beside me again.”
“Understood, Miss.”
The chauffeur quietly closed the car door.
The Rolls-Royce pulled away from the curb, disappearing into the curtain of rain.
Bam stood motionless.
She didn’t chase after the car.
She knew she couldn’t.
Watching the taillights disappear into the night, she finally understood something she should have realized years ago.
She had spent five years expecting Oom to hate her.
She thought anger would be easier.
Because anger still meant there were feelings left.
But indifference…
Indifference meant Oom had learned how to live without her.
And somehow…
That hurt far more than hatred ever could.
Standing alone in the rain, Bam finally accepted the truth.
Winning Oom back would never be about asking for forgiveness.
It would mean becoming someone Oom could trust again.
And after everything she had destroyed…
She wasn’t even sure she deserved the chance to try.

Essa história não pode terminar com as duas juntas, imagina você pegar a sua mulher na cama com outro e ainda voltar com ela? Como você volta a confiar nessa pessoa? Pra mim não faz o menor sentido.

Part 1️⃣: “…she never let anyone speak badly about you.”
Silence.
Only the sound of Bam’s sobbing filled the space between them.
“I don’t deserve her…”
“No.”
“You don’t.”
Another painful silence settled over them.
After a long moment, Lena sighed.
“I hated you.”
She looked Bam straight in the eyes.
“Some days…”
“I still do.”
“But…”
She glanced toward the hotel entrance where Oom had disappeared.
“If you’re serious about earning another chance…”
“Forget grand gestures.”
“Forget flowers.”
“Forget expensive jewelry.”
“Forget chasing her every day.”
“Oom doesn’t need someone to convince her they’re sorry.”
“She needs someone who can prove they’ll never make her question her worth again.”
Lena stepped back.
“That kind of trust isn’t rebuilt with words.”
“It’s rebuilt through time.”
“And time…”
“…is the one thing you can never demand from her.”
Without another word, Lena turned around.
Miu lingered behind for a moment.
She looked at Bam with quiet sympathy.
“I don’t think Oom stopped loving you.”
Bam’s eyes filled with hope.
“But love isn’t always enough.”
Miu gave her a sad smile.
“Sometimes…”
“Respect has to come back first.”
Then she walked away.
Leaving Bam alone.
⸻
Outside, the rain had become heavier.
Dark clouds covered the Bangkok skyline as thunder rolled in the distance.
Luxury cars lined the entrance of the hotel.
Guests hurried inside to avoid getting soaked.
Oom stood beneath the canopy with one hand tucked into her coat pocket.
She watched the rain fall without saying a word.
Her chauffeur opened the rear door of the black Rolls-Royce.
Before she could step inside, her executive assistant approached with a tablet.
“Miss Hosuwan.”
Oom turned slightly.
“The acquisition reports are ready.”
The assistant handed her the tablet.
“We’ve secured three of Saralee Group’s overseas shipping partners.”
“They’ve agreed to terminate negotiations with Saralee Holdings.”
Oom glanced at the screen for barely a second before handing it back.
“Good.”
The assistant hesitated.
“The board is asking whether we should continue.”
Oom didn’t answer immediately.
Instead, her eyes drifted toward the hotel entrance.

Good morning, everyone! How’s the story so far? I know… it’s way too early to be serving trauma with your morning coffee. If you’re crying before breakfast, I’m so sorry… but also thank you for reading. Enjoy Part II, and don’t forget to leave a comment! I need to know if you’re okay… or if you want to throw your phone at me already. Hope you all have a great day… even if the story doesn’t. 😂
