not quite. who we should really be blaming is ourselves. the things you mention are correct, but they're the symptom, not the cause. the most destructive aspect of human nature is that we don't love ourselves, in fact we're afraid of what we are and the aspects of ourselves we especially don't approve of. they terrify us so much that we instead project them onto other people, and so treat them as the enemy.
this has gotten so bad over recent decades that empathy for others is at an all time low, and narcissism (which is built on self-loathing) is at epidemic levels. that means that scapegoating is also at an all time high. that explains genocide, gender war, governments, trump & musk, and the total breakdown of our relationships and friendships, regressing into disconnected transactional nothingness. and hatred, lots of hatred from all that unresolved internal pain and conflict, with zero accountability for the real internal reasons.
the systems are corrupt yes, but they reflect us - it all starts with us. until we nurture self-empathy, which will then project outwards into empathy for others, we will continue to decline, catastrophically ..
