I live right next to about 2k acres of straight ducks unlimited swamp land off deep fork river, tens of thousands of ducks every year I shot a 5 man almost every time I went out last year just at a farm pond

It absolutely blows my mind how many selfish people there are in this world… “I don’t kill ducks like I did 20 years ago, so who cares if duck populations crash and threaten them as a species” absolutely mind blowing that people who call themselves “hunters” have absolutely no care or respect for the resource. Alls these kind of guys care about is killing stuff

I signed it. I don’t like du that much but we need the duck factory. And I know people around me here in the south like in ms think it would be ok and we could have habitat down here but they do not understand the amount of waterfowl that use the area up north as breeding ground. If we don’t save it my generations children will have even less ducks than mine.!

100% support what you are saying and i agree but the gov letting midwest farmers pull abt 6.8 trillion gallons of water a year from the oglala aquifer doesn’t help that’s a lot of water that could be going into our duck factories and our amazing wetlands.

Hunters need to back off the limit killing. We do everything we can to kill a blind limit. We have 2-8 man blinds that’s alot of birds killed. Several 5 man blinds. We need numbers killed to keep business going. Social medial pictures and advertising. We go to camp eat and drink good. Folks want to see kill pics not empty bottles. Will outfitters off nope it’s big money
