I always feel a little insecure when I post “what I eat” videos from my trips. I know a lot of people see the foods I’m eating as “unhealthy” or assume they’ll lead to weight gain. But I never wanted to give up all the foods I love. What I did want was to learn moderation and balance and that’s exactly what I’ve found. Now, I can enjoy the foods I love when I’m out of town, celebrating a special occasion, or even on a random Tuesday. I stay mindful of how they make me feel, and I’ve learned how to maintain my weight. Not just because I’m active during my trips and in everyday life, but because I return to my normal routine when I get home. These aren’t “cheat meals.” This is just me living my life. Enjoying foods that bring me joy. Staying mentally aware so I don’t fall into the old trap of “starting over on Monday” when I get back home. It only counts as “falling off track” if I’m following a specific diet plan. And I’m not. I’m simply consistent with a lifestyle that works for me and that lifestyle includes all the foods I love. So yes, I know I’ll get comments telling me these foods are unhealthy or that I should be careful or else I’ll gain the weight back (I really do get those 🙈), but I’m still going to share. Because I want you to know this kind of food freedom and balance is possible for you too. 🤗 Everywhere I ate from in order of what you see in the video: Queensyard Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Company Blue Ribbon Sushi Pinky Swear (catered event) Hotel breakfast (50 Bowery) Gelso & Grand Ferrara La Mercerie Levain Bakery Little Italy Pizza #wieiad #whatieat #naturalweightloss #healthjourney
