I'm confused and I'm a former menstruater. What I tell my son is to make sure there's all the options right out in the open in his bathroom. Pads big and lil, tamps get a multi pack. Add a lil pack of fem wipes for pizzazz. He's 16.

And if you’re doing this for a preteen/teen, look for the teen specific products if they don’t specify-they are sized for smaller frames.

I’m going to be honest. I didn’t know all of that. The color coding…my goodness. I feel so silly that I didn’t connect those dots. I have one more thing to add. Know if she is allergic to any brands. I have that issue.

this is also not the time to be cheap. get the brand that she wants/uses. yes the store/generics are cheaper but they may not work as well or not be as comfy or can cause issues down there so please get the brand that she tells you
