@onellaandryan: Day 4 of renovations! Sorry for the delay, I had a ‘weekend’ from renovating this house to finish renovating my own laundry 😅 Please also cross your fingers that these aren’t load bearing walls for me 😂 #reno #DIY #Home #crackhouse #squatters
Ohhh buddy. That pillar where the walls met in the middle was definitely load-bearing.

Oh my god you need a structural engineer 😭😭😭 you shouldn’t have removed that, I’m surprised you didn’t get any builder advice

The ceiling actually lowered when you took those out. I’m thinking you must be having a joke with us.

Guys FYI it was not a structural wall 😂 the wall either side of it is where the actual load sits, the ceiling/plaster bowed when removed because it was built in the 70’s and none of the ceiling plaster is held in at the ends, it’s basically falling off!

That looks like a pretty big span.... I'd be thinking some support would be needed across that span.

Might have been a crack house before, it will definitely remain a CRACKED House if you don't put some support beams up somewhere 😬

I suggest getting a lintel to support that area. You definitely need a structural engineer to look at it
