It appears that individuals who utilized pyramid e-service in Jalandhar, India, for their college applications to Portage College may have been misled. These agents, potentially having a financial interest in these institutions, are alleged to have provided inaccurate information regarding Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWPs) and facilitated the acquisition of work visas and supporting documentation for student visas. Now, with the rejection of applications by IRCC, these colleges have reportedly ceased operations, leaving students in a precarious situation. It is suggested that a lack of due diligence on the part of the applicants, who seemingly trusted these agents implicitly and paid various sums as requested, contributed to this outcome, as each individual signed these documents. Rather than engaging in protests or hunger strikes, a more effective approach might involve submitting formal request letters to IRCC, accompanied by Judicial Review (JR) documentation, outlining the circumstances.
