I get being mad about it if you weren’t close to the person that did your best friend dirty ( like how you said) but I stayed friends with 2 girls that hated each other as I cared for both but I knew 1 more closer and longer than the other, the one I didn’t know as long made me feel like shit because I stayed friends with her after she “ruined her life” even tho she ended their friendship and straight up told me to get help

I got disrespected so bad I considered dropping the whole friend group but one of my friends reached out and said she didn’t wanna be friends with them if I didn’t, mind you I built a new life new friendships I walked away and talked to them like once a month in the group chat (old friendgroup) and then that stopped as well but now there’s sometimes when we hangout me and my friend where she’s texting him and talking about the past and saying he’s her friend and she said they’re not as close anymore but, in a way I know it’s not bc they’re friends but bc if she’s friends with him it doesn’t even matter what he said to me or did to me bc yk he could be thinking oh well she’s still friends with me who cares and then he reposts about how I’m the villain or how he’s always left alone . The old friend group all chose to stay with him (not suprised at all) and even tried to get us all to hangout again I feel like no one gets the gravity of how I feel. Especially when the friend who reached out to me doesn’t either apperantly even though I told her :/
