Holy shit this is me. As a clinical psychologist who works with survivors and have my own experiences this is a conversation I have daily on repeat. The hypervigilance about expressing anger while trying to suppress anger because someone else’s anger dominates and is labelled entirely reasonable. While being abused. 🤯
