@alexisisabellle: Nashville apartments are crazy. Raising my rent that much when I even had the convo moving in about it not going up like crazy. Love it. Thank god for the wild market here #apartment #rent #rentraise #living
My daughter moved out of Nashville to Miami and her rent is 3,000.00 a month plus 150.00 parking and it’s 650 sq ft . Germantown was 2800 for 700 sqft

Yes Skyhouse in 2022 was going to raise me from $1700–$2100. So funny😂😂😂… I bought my own home… now there’s no raises cause mortgages are FIXED

For the price of apartments in Nashville I just decided to move into a house. I’m paying the same price for 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bath.

and people go, “Lexie, why do you want to nyc?” At this point it’s almost just as expensive to live in mf NASHVILLE.

everyone saying to just get a house obviously doesn’t get it. you have to have money saved to get a house. we live paycheck to paycheck

Yeah. Mine went from 1563 to 2715. In one 12 month period. Same unit. Not upgrades—no new features. Just pure greed

They’re just wanting to force you to move out so they can raise the rent in general. Nashville is already out of control for what you get. I hate it here lol

and the dumb thing is they will be like well if you move to another apartment in the building you’ll get the discounted price. Like the logic is noooot there. But it’s likely you had free months off in the beginning yes?

I pay $1500 for a 3 bd house in Wedgewood/houston and don’t have to share walls. Oh and have a big backyard/back deck 😁

Yeah, and the problem is is they won’t give you anything other than a two month warning. How are you supposed to pack and find an apartment in two months?

I pay 1200 per mth for a w bedroom apartment, it's not that great , but it's cheap , I live in Madison maybe you should try Hendersonville, it's beautiful

Idk if you’ve tried yet but u can negotiate. Just tell them you can’t afford that and you’ll move out if they raise it. They say they’ll reach out to management. You’ll hear back within like 2-3 hrs they can give u the original price u pay now. If they say no they’re tryna get u out of there rip

That's why I ended up choosing a place 15 minutes from downtown. I could never rationalize it.

I don't know what part of Nashville. You are in, but I'm over here by downtown. Like across the street, from the fire department and river house, and it's a little cheaper. And they check out river house, or you could go to terra house tear house is right where there's liquor store try it cause when I moved from nance place near these i'm apply around me

You can thank the mayor. Raising property taxes in the city like he has causes this.
