Hairstylist here 👋🏼 i heard her say that bleach is made to lift specifically dark hair. I mean all bleach is made to lift all shades of hair. But that specific one claims to have a toning effect to it. As another girl said before you need to leave it longer than you think you do. Even after 45min it’s not ready. I hated that bleach 🥴😬

What hairstylist do you go to? That allows you to leave the salon with lightner on your hair that’s a big no no and such a liability.

as a stylist i would NEVER let my client leave the salon with bleach in their head. the change in temperatures is going to drastically change the outcome of the lightening. also you can tell the first round of lightening was not ready as it was brighter than a banana peel! it doesnt seem like she toned with the proper toner either. the stylist might just need some more education on product and color theory

Pink over the first application was good enough for the length of the roots. Next root touch up you hit the band for a more even application. Thats why its always recommended to do your roots every 4-6 weeks. Lighting again is making the hair way too processed and next time you hit the roots theres gonna be breakage. And then they say its the hairstylist fault that all the hair snapped off.

Charcoal bleach/ blue bleaches are one of the most useless gimmicks in the hair industry. Blue bleach, gray bleach, etc, will NOT deposit tone your hair as you lift it. Bleach eats through any pigment deposits, that’s the point of bleach.

You’re not supposed to scalp bleach more than once because after you rinse and shampoo it strips all of your natural oils off the scalp and leaves it extremely vulnerable. You’re lucky your scalp didn’t blister and that you still have hair
