It is anomaly. The fact of the matter is that this kind of life is accessible only to a very limited number of people because most of us have to do jobs that keep society running but don’t pay well enough to live that lifestyle, or a pale facsimile of it. Not everyone can just make money online because someone has to be a teacher, someone has to be a janitor, someone has to be a nurse. The problem is the system that crushes people with cost of living and (if you’re anywhere other than Europe for the most part) lack of worker protections.

I feel you man. Growing up watching YouTubers made me think that success was something that was handed to you. It didn’t matter what work you put in or what you sacrifice, it’s however many people give you a thumbs up, how many people watch you live your life. It took me years to disassociate from that and realise that true success is living for yourself and not the crowd.
