I think what annoyed me more was, some people were just misunderstanding, on purpose, or not, what people were mad about. and being like "well christians are also part of LGBTQ! yall only like gay atheists!" because no that's not what people were mad about. people were mad because some christians made it only about religion:']

dispite my name, I actually agree. however, if you put anything on the internet, and it goes viral/trendy, you cant blame one group for using it aswell. I think that christians SHOULD be able to use the trend, BUT they should understand why someone may get upset, and shouldnt be surprised if someone does. the trend was about giving EVERYONE “sunshine” for a reason. therefore, it shouldnt exclude a group and people should realize that. and as for the example of the black lives matter movement, it sounds more dismissive to say “everyone matters” rather than “black lives matter” because of the original topic itself hence the “black lives” part, because it switches the topic. when you make a trend that states “everyone” it shouldnt be taken as dismissive when EVERYONE/more than one group uses it. when christians use the sunshine trend, they arent switching the topic, they are simply stating, “yeah, everyone deserves happiness.” while the “all lives matter” was more like a “no, not just black lives matter, we do too.” which isnt technically disrepectful, but its much more likely to be seen as such because of the topic switch/disagreement.

I need your opinion on something. I've been having trouble with trying to accept lgbtq+ community And what I mean by that is I just don't know how to view it. should I view it as bad or something that people will just do? And for people that are a part of it are they not allowed to be Christian?
