@aussiemoon: Last year in October, when Amara was in Kindergarten, we were experiencing bullying at her school. We had the school involved and had policies in place to protect her but nothing was working.. we wanted Amara to protect herself but she didn't know how. Amara's best friend @leelabjj was in Jiujitsu at the time and invited us to come try it out.. and the rest is history! Fast forward to 9 months and here we are 3 tournaments deep 3 Gold and 1 Silver, Amara is loving this sport and her Confidence is to the moon. Way to go Amara 🫶🏽 it’s so sad how kids can be so cruel at this age. Kaci use to come home all the time saying things kids said to her, every day still saying the kids were her friends not fully understanding friends doesn’t say mean words to friends, I use to say every day I can’t wait till she understands that every one isn’t her friend.
