My ferritin is at 4. I genuinely feel like I’m dying.. like I’m just slowly rotting away.. it’s so physically hard, but the mental burden is truly becoming unbearable 😏

Does low iron and ferritin make you have premature white or silver hairs because I’m only 26 and I have so many white or gray hairs not that it’s a bad thing. I’m just curious because I can see that you have some in you might be older than me, but I’m just curious

I’m at 13. Anxiety. Can’t sleep. Aches and pains. Fatigue. Shortness of breath. Chest pain/discomfort. Weak. Supplementing but can’t take high doses cause I’m sensitive to the supplement. Recovering from surgery too so need it more than ever.

I had one iron infusion and three months in my ferritin when back Down to 11. I’m trying so hard to stick with a routine but I’m so tired there are days I just don’t want to 😭😭😭

Kefir, Greek yogurt, red meat, bone broth, liquid iron, sardines, cook with an iron skillet. I have similar issues with low hemoglobin and low red blood cell counts and it becomes a multi factorial approach.

Having severely low ferritin for 5+ years (levels between 3-5) has been something I just can’t mentally get over. Oral iron doesn’t work for me. I had 4 infusions and lost it all due to ONE menstrual period. But my doctors say there isn’t anything more they can do. I’ve spent my late teens and 20s suffering so so much, and there’s no end in sight
