Another example - songs need to be sung predominantly in Spanish for Best Latin Pop. So Brazilian songs sung in Portuguese wouldn’t be eligible for it

the grammys not only enforced creative restrictions with that eligibility requirement but had ZERO consideration for the countries in asia who’s native tongue is english.. they so very clearly are trying to determine who’s asian, latin, or black “enough” with these categories and it’s sickeninggg

One of the Grammy voters (who’s also an executive at UMG) has been crashing out online since BTS pulled out and now just admitted on instagram that the Grammys board didn’t think about the fact that many Asian people speak English as a first language 🙃
