@healthjourneythroughfood: Most of us grew up thinking milk was just… milk. 🥛 But what if I told you there are actually three different genetic combinations that determine which type of beta-casein protein a cow produces? 🐄 A1/A1 🐄 A1/A2 🐄 A2/A2 That tiny genetic difference changes how the protein is digested, and scientists are studying whether it may help explain why some people experience digestive discomfort with conventional milk while reporting they feel better drinking A2 milk. This isn’t about fear. It’s not about saying one is “good” and one is “bad.” It’s about understanding what you’re putting into your body and learning the science behind it. Knowledge gives you options. And sometimes, one small piece of information can completely change the way you look at food. 💾 Save this post so you can come back to it, and let me know in the comments… had you ever heard of A1 and A2 milk before? #a2milk #milk #dairy #dairyfree #foodintolerance
I grew up in the US and always figured I was lactose/dairy intolerant. Moved to Australia and discovered here I can eat as much dairy as I like and drink as much milk as I like.

Slcleek :
We have a dairy local to my state that has an A2 herd. All their milk, dairy products, and ice cream is made from their herd. It never makes me sick like other milks.
