if youve ever done academic research for a college paper, yoy know all the actual data, studies, and important information is locked behind a paywall. . there are ways around this though. still frustrating though.

I will say, atleast for things like the Baghdad university/library and the library of Alexandria there where hundreds of copies across different Mediterranean cities, atleast a handful of other libraries also had these papers, these larger libraries where often more to centralize knowledge somewhere so it’s easier to read into it in one sitting
