I hate how people say she didn't love Inuyasha and she was just using him to become human that isn't true at all had Kikyo not fallen in love she wouldn't have been killed so easily it was said by Naraku in the Manga and by Tsubaki as well had she not been in love with a half demon her power wouldn't have weakened that's why Tsubaki tried to curse Kikyo and it backfired badly.

After reading the manga…I realized the show made me hate her. Her character was much more understandable and Inuyasha wasn’t chasing after her to be with her necessarily, it was more out of guilt and tryna save her

The anime screwed with her and made Inuyasha look like a cheating bump. He isn't like that in the manga. He does go after her but its because he feels guilty because he think she died because of him and she is trying to help her, but he does make it clear he now loves Kagome. Forever gonna hate the anime for that 🙄
