I just made it but added an extra cup of noodles, milk and water, an extra TBSP of butter and an extra 1/2 tsp of salt. Then an extra cup of cheddar cheese. It came out perfect. It had to cook a little longer but it worked exactly as you’ve explained. We topped with bacon pieces and pepper. Chef’s kiss.
