@sacramentourbanmedia916: Americans across the country will soon have the chance to apply for a limited-edition “Patriot Passport” featuring President Donald Trump, as the State Department expands availability beyond Washington, D.C. Beginning in August, all 27 U.S. passport agencies will gradually offer the commemorative passports during select in-person events. Officials said an additional 250,000 editions are being released after strong public demand. The special passport marks the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary and includes a portrait of Trump on an interior page, making him the first sitting U.S. president to appear in a U.S. passport. It also features a gold facsimile of his signature, a redesigned gold-lettered cover, and a commemorative American flag emblem with “250” surrounded by stars. Unlike standard passports, the collectible version will only be available to applicants who apply in person on designated event dates listed by the State Department. The rollout is the latest in a series of commemorative items highlighting Trump’s likeness during the nation’s semiquincentennial celebration.#fyp #viral
