Because those worth waiting for will be worth experiencing to the fullest extent. Instead of just a blanket of false pride wondering when someone is going to walk away, to fail in front of someone. To cry, to feel, to explode, and to not be judged because the way you see the world is understood by another. To be there in the same light for those in the same struggle. To feel understood. While understanding that this experience is fleeting, just as they may go, so may we. Be strong enough to build a fire for yourself, when the warmth of another is not near. But also be strong enough to open your heart to the warmth of another.
