@haastay: This image is an architectural diagram showing how to make a small bathroom Under Stairs. It has 2 views: ELEVATION (side view) and PLAN (top view). 1. ELEVATION (Top Drawing) It shows a side section of the stairs and the space underneath: On the right side: There's a small bathroom built under the highest part of the stairs. It has blue tiles, a toilet, a small wall-hung sink with a faucet, a mirror, and a ceiling light. An older man is shown sitting on the toilet to show the scale and headroom. Total Height: The height from the floor to the landing of the stairs is 2130 MM (84"). This is the maximum headroom for the bathroom. On the left side: Under the lower part of the stairs, there's a built-in wooden storage cabinet with 2 doors. This space is too low for a bathroom. Minimum Height: The diagram marks MIN. 1520 MM (60") as the minimum height where you can still comfortably stand/sit. The bathroom is placed only where the ceiling is higher than that. The idea is to use the dead space under the stairs efficiently - high space for toilet, low space for storage. 2. PLAN (Bottom Drawing) It shows the same area seen from above: Left: The wooden storage area divided into 4 sections. Right: The bathroom layout. The size of the bathroom area is 1520 MM (60") long x 910 MM (36") wide. It's a very compact powder room. Inside the bathroom, you can see the toilet and the person from above, and the sink. The sink area has a depth of 460 MM (18"). There's a door that swings outward, which is smart for such a small space. Overall, it's a clever design inspiration for small houses - turning unused space under the staircase into a functional half-bathroom and storage. #haastaydesignandconstruction #wePlan #WeDesign #buildright #07031026677
