My husband and i have been doing this with our daughter since the very beginning. One of our nurses showed us in the hospital. Our daughter is able to burp pretty easily after and doesn’t get gassy

This was happening w my baby so i just didn’t let her use a bottle and now she’s 8 months and REFUSES bottle i try everything but she hatessss it 😫 and i can’t ever be away from her becuz i exclusively breastfeed

Finally someone said it. My mom shoved a bottle down my babies throat & she preferred the bottle but once she was gone I switched to exclusively breastfeeding.

I wasn’t taught this and as a new mom I did this with my daughter when she was a newborn. It’s true. She refused to breast-feed after she got a bottle. I didn’t know about pace feeding

I always pace fed my first born, and used the slowest flowing bottle from avent!! You can hold it upside down, and it won’t drip at all.

We are doing pace feeding and at some point you have to tip the bottle to get milk in the nipple. Our baby is super fussy when we pace feed. I think she’s getting too much air. Any suggestions?

Also, I was told that slow flow nipples aren’t ever acceptable and they have to be extra slow flow for breastfed babies.
