@gbnews: ‘Britain is being mugged off when it comes to so-called skilled worker visas.’ Patrick Christys reacts to the GB News exclusive that one street in Harrow has sponsored 84 migrants to get skilled work visas to be employed in shops. #Workers #Migrant #Immigration #UKNews #GBNews
I don’t think the problem is people coming in a skilled work visa who gave them the visa what skilled positions they are being sponsored for and so on…whatever in the end either they are working or not they are paying taxes for the work

Many jobs in chicken shops, grocery stores, supermarkets, and other essential businesses are difficult to fill. Some people choose not to take these jobs because they believe they are financially better off claiming government benefits than working. Others start work but leave after a short period or have poor attendance, creating ongoing staffing challenges.
At the same time, many migrant workers are willing to take these jobs, work hard, and support themselves and their families. They are not taking jobs away from others—they are filling positions that many businesses struggle to recruit for.
The real issue is not the people who come here to work. The focus should be on creating a system where employment is always more rewarding than relying on benefits, while continuing to support those who genuinely need help. A strong economy depends on rewarding hard work, responsibility, and commitment.

Why give the retail shop a sponsorship licence in the first place ? If the work itself is ineligible for skilled worker visa , why does the shop has the licence to sponsor ? 😁
