This was nothing but God that lead me to TikTok this morning just to hear this song. I’m a stepfather of a 5 beautiful young women and one that can’t stand the ground I walk on. I’ve been in her life for 22 years and raised her since she was 7. She (until about 2 years ago) used to call me daddy. We went to eat, personal time together, called each other on the phone, I gave her dating advice, gave my time & love. The things a father does with his children. And now I’ve been cussed out and called all kinds of names and have yet to be told why she feels the way she does not an apology. And yet, I still love her and I’m still there for her as before. I’ve given it to God & He’ll make it known to me in His timing.
