What a fucking baller this lad was, I dont think ive ever seen a more clinical striker in 30 years of watching united. Could do it all as well, long shots, one touch goals, freekicks... One of my favorite players.

The way this was literally true. United won most games that season 2-1, 3-2, 4-3. It was Robins goals that literally won United the league that season. The fact he came in, from Arsenal, to win what they could never give him, put the No.20 on his back, and then scored 30 odd goals in his first season at the club to secure that title, is one of the best things I’ve seen as a United fan. Arsenal have never been sat down and humbled more. Poetically beautiful.
