While I agree that people don’t rate classic lit enough, I do believe there are many works in animanga (anime, manga, VN, LN, WN) that can stand and even surpass many classic literature works

Maybe I've got the answer, that 'mediatok' is just an anime fan who wants to act like an elitist who concludes and judges things deeply, even though it's just connotation and exaggeration. Then they switch from anime and manga to fiction like classic books and Western works, and non-Japanese media, and finally conclude that their opinions are the most correct. Then comes someone who wants to join in, then tries to watch anime that is often discussed on pirate websites, and reads classic stories and novels on their phones, or pirated books. And to look even more like a 'mediatok', they download visual novels pirated, and they don't feel anything after consuming that media, because I know they just want to know so they won't be considered 'larp' and they are just pretending to know about their opinions that say blablabla>>>>blablabla
