Parents absolutely should be held accountable when they enable or ignore clear warning signs that lead to tragedies like this. If a minor is able to dress in full tactical gear, obtain weapons or related equipment, and no responsible adult notices or intervenes, that’s a serious failure. Every case is different, but when parents are negligent or knowingly allow it, there should be meaningful legal consequences.
