Coming from someone who isn’t one (so u can’t complain) acting like the majority of women who enter the industry are the ones who make the industry toxic is what purity culture wants you to do. The real villains are the ones grooming young girls into it, commonly “managers”. Many of them trap women into predatory contracts forcing them into making and posting content they don’t agree with. As for the rest of the women who choose to do it, it’s completely their choice (as long as it’s not problematic content). That platform is way safer than any other platform on the market right now (especially orange and black). Before this platform was created women were commonly paid penny’s to the dollar and tricked into it using contracts (usually under the term modeling) having their bodily autonomy completely taken from them while getting paid almost nothing. Now it is in their name, and if they aren’t tricked into it they are the ones who benefit from it. That job is not safe and has its extreme pros and cons, but what a woman chooses to do with her body is completely up to her and there are many ways to do it morally this being the most moral of all whether you’d like to admit it or not. In a perfect world women wouldn’t have to do this, but in a world where anyone’s clothes can be taken by AI that isn’t the case because it will be done whether we have a say or not. In a perfect world this content wouldn’t need to exist. but we don’t live in a world like that. Women have been forced into this kind of work for years, only now are they seeing a little bit of benefit from it and whether we like to admit it or not a lot of women love that line of work. No I’m not saying women should do it, I’m saying the women who do are not the bad guys for choosing what they want to do with their bodies.
