@startoverstrategy: Replying to @just me 🇺🇸🇲🇽🇮🇪 If you’re building a business online, don’t let criticism convince you you’re doing something wrong. Many women—especially divorced former tradwives—have spent years being taught not to draw attention to themselves, not to lead, and not to promote themselves. So when it’s time to market a business, it can feel deeply uncomfortable. I’ve also noticed a pattern. Sometimes male entrepreneurs are described as ambitious and driven, while women doing similar things are dismissed as attention-seeking or told to “just get a real job.” That’s certainly not everyone’s perspective, but it’s a pattern I’ve seen often enough to be worth talking about. The reality is that if you’re using social media to market your business, consistency matters. Most people won’t see every post you make, which is why many marketing experts encourage business owners to post regularly. You don’t have to post 30 times a day. You don’t have to copy someone else’s strategy. But you also don’t have to apologize for letting people know how you can help them. If you’re providing a genuine service that improves people’s lives, don’t let fear of being seen keep you from being found. #WomenInBusiness #ServiceBasedBusiness #SmallBusinessMarketing #DivorcedTradwife #EntrepreneurMindset
