You actually not supposed to take a clinical coat "uniform" outside the lab, ward any place where you get exposed to infections. Imagine a lab person who has been working on stool samples with hookworms, you never know if he is contaminated or a doctor which has been getting into contact with patients with different sickness and now busy mixing with everyone.
