the funny thing is is that when I looked up the history of Palenstine after ww2, Hamas only came into the picture in the 80s by a scholar during the First Intifada against the Israeli occupation, which was reasonable at the time because it was originally Palenstinian land (you will not find any coin from Isreal before WW2, believe me). it just became more and more extreme as the years went on
