Just like anywhere else in the world there are good people and bad people The people you see today risking their lives to reach Spain men, women children and even babies did not choose to face death at sea for fun They are fleeing poverty difficult living conditions and for some mistreatment They are simply searching for the chance to live with dignity Migration is not easy Leaving your home your family your country and everything you’ve ever known is one of the hardest decisions a person can make People only take that risk when they feel they have no other choice So why all the insults and hatred? They are human beings before anything else They deserve respect compassion and empathy regardless of their nationality or circumstances
