They realize net worth is not the same as the money that you haven’t net worth is how much money you have total and how much money you would have combined with all your assets Elon Musk probably has $3 billion just in the bank right now that he could spend almost all the other stuff is his other companies like Tesla SpaceX, Twitter it’s nothing to do with his actual money. He can’t donate that.

His wealth is from stocks he holds in the companies HE built! If his companies weren’t successful, he wouldn’t have that net worth. Also, these people thinks he has all this money “liquid” in an account it literally tied up in the stocks of his companies. If he sold off such large portions, it would affect the market and retirement/investment accounts of millions of people.
