Many people think Lapland is just dark in winter, but darkness is exactly what makes winter here so special❄️✨ For me, it’s simply home. I was born and raised here, and after spending my life outdoors in these conditions, I’ve learned that experiencing Lapland is not just about choosing the right activities. It’s about understanding the weather, snow, light, darkness and how quickly Arctic conditions can change. And then there are the Northern Lights. I’ve spent years photographing, filming and studying the aurora, learning how solar activity, the magnetic field, clouds and local weather conditions come together. Finding the Northern Lights isn’t about looking at one forecast or chasing a high KP number. It’s about understanding what is actually happening in the sky and knowing where to go when conditions change. That local knowledge makes a huge difference. And honestly, some of the best moments in Lapland are much simpler: walking through a silent snowy forest, feeding reindeer, sitting around a fire, driving a snowmobile across a frozen landscape, going from a hot sauna into icy water, or just watching the blue Arctic light outside your window. If you’re planning a trip here, my biggest advice is Don’t just come to see the most touristic parts of Lapland. Come here to experience the real part of it. Die Briefwahl wird endgültig ad absurdum geführt. Schon grundsätzlich bestehen erhebliche Risiken, wenn Wahlunterlagen außerhalb des Wahllokals ausgefüllt werden. Und jetzt verschickt die Stadt Magdeburg auch noch 440 Briefwahlunterlagen doppelt. Die Behörde erklärt die doppelten Wahlscheine für ungültig. Aber wie wird technisch und organisatorisch zweifelsfrei sichergestellt, dass tatsächlich die richtigen Scheine gesperrt werden und keine doppelte Stimmabgabe möglich ist? Bei einer Landtagswahl können wenige Hundert Stimmen über Mandate und Mehrheiten entscheiden. Das ist deshalb kein belangloser Verwaltungsfehler, sondern ein handfester Wahlskandal, der lückenlos aufgeklärt werden muss. Wer Vertrauen in Wahlen verlangt, muss ein Verfahren gewährleisten, das über jeden Manipulationsverdacht erhaben ist. #wahlmanipulation
