Please look at the iron content of this protein. If it’s 0, you have a problem. If’s it’s anything above 0, you have your answer.

it's the iron and it's because it's a dried powder. this happens with infant formula too or any fortified cereal if you crush it up. perfectly normal.

TLDR: there is iron content in your product, they out it in there because your body needs it, it's not shards of iron in there, you're fine.
you're pulling out the iron that was added to increase the iron content. your body needs iron for your red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout your body. from a quick Google search, good protein lists 13.5 MG per 1 scoop and this is it. when it's mixed in the protein powder it is also powderized but when you introduce iron powder or dust to a magnetic field, they come together to form "shard" like shapes.

so like most or all protein powders they contain iron. good protein has 75% iron, if you do this to baby formula, crushed cereal the same thing will happen. this is what companies do called iron fortifying where with plants the iron is bonded to the molecules and Ions.
it is not harmful to you, unless your downing a bag a day of the protein powder.
but check foods that you get from a box and if you ground them up you will be able to do the same thing.
this iron fortification helps those like myself who cannot eat enough greens to get the amount we need.

This can happen with iron. In some food it can actually have little iron particles in it. This is not uncommon tbh.

Many breakfast cereals and powders have pure, elemental iron filings added as a nutrient. Because it is raw metal iron, a strong magnet can pull it out
