@mel_dub1: White mold on potting soil? Don’t panic. 🌱 That white fuzzy layer is usually saprophytic fungus. It isn’t attacking your plant, but it is a sign your soil may be staying wet too long. Instead of treating the mold, fix the growing conditions: ✔️ Increase airflow ✔️ Make sure your plant is getting enough light ✔️ Use a well-draining potting mix if your soil stays wet for days Healthy roots need oxygen, and soil that stays consistently wet can increase the risk of root rot.
I’ve been getting this on the my fluval/perlite self watering pots. I have pon in the same cabinet and no fuzz on those. Would you recommend letting the reservoir fully dry? Or should I move them to Pon as well?

My jade plant in my bedroom had white fuzzy mold growing on the upper leaves. I rinsed off the mold and moved the plant to an area with more air flow. It hasn’t come, I hope that’s enough.
