if flock was only accessable for law enforcement it wouldn't be quite as bad. but flock owns all of the data that the camera collect. they have an unlimited license to store, access, monitor and sell this accumulated data anywhere they want, to anyone they want

Is the argument really “they should’ve stood by their crimes instead of being cowardly about it.” Attention is being drawn to the issue either way, besides if they took a stand and argued what they did was moral what stops the courts from giving them the same sentencing anyway? Civil disobedience doesn’t have to follow a strict set of rules that’s kinda the whole point…
