![Rizq after umrah & hajj 💵 Some people think that when you go to Makkah and get sick, it’s simply because you’ve been around people from all over the world and have been exposed to different germs. And yes, there are obviously scientific reasons why people can get sick while traveling. But there is also spiritual evidence— you get sick because you’re being purified. [Clips of each Muslim coughing on the side] The Prophet ﷺ said: “Do not curse fever, for it erases sins just as fire removes the impurities of iron.” Everyone is on their own journey of being purified. And that’s also why many people come back from Umrah and swear that their rizq changed. Suddenly, doors started opening. Opportunities came. Things they weren’t even expecting started happening. [Show clips of influencers talking about their rizq after Umrah] Another hadith says: “Alternate between Hajj and Umrah, for they remove poverty and sins just as the bellows removes impurities from iron, gold and silver.” Again, the Prophet ﷺ literally gave us the example of sins being removed like impurities from iron. So doors of rizq open because you were purified of sins that were blocking your rizq in the first place. So go and perform Umrah. Don’t hold yourself back out of fear of spending money. Even if you don’t have much, I recommend that you go with the little money that you may have. Imagine you go, and you cry out to Allah, “O Allah, I spent whatever I had for You.” That is powerful! You’re visiting the House of Allah — the King of all kings. You may come back with more purification, more barakah, and more rizq than you ever expected. May Allah make it easy for everyone.
