Ppl are jumping down her throat for talking about issues most influencers don’t even dare to utter a word about. Yes the take was poorly structured and the wording she used was much too punchy for the internet. BUT SHES TALKING ABOUT IT and haven’t we been soo angry with every other influencer for not talking about it? Amen to “we have bigger fish to fry” than cancel someone who is always attempting to learn and do better.

people's literacy and comprehension skills are in HELL 😭😭😭 she wasn't saying that brown people can't and don't work high paying jobs, she's just saying that Johnny at the hedge fund company doesn't need to be worried about the fucking blue collar worker because they probably will not ever cross paths and Johnny would have never worked that job in the first place. that is not crazy to say! that's true. 😭 she didn't say all brown people were good for was cleaning toilets and being fucking hospitality/blue collar workers. she just made a point to say that it's fucking crazy to be saying "they're stealing our jobs" when white American men are factually not working those blue collar jobs. that's all she was saying. how did that get so egregiously misunderstood?

I went to grad school with Eli she is incredibly informed, empathetic, and smart. I think people forget she has a masters in journalism so is actually classically trained on theses subjects! Even in grad school she was fighting the good fight
